The role is to act as the client’s lead officer on all Council Tax and Financial matters including:
• To provide assurance that the client is delivering high-performing, well-managed, strategic Revenues and Benefits services.
• Council Tax administration and collection.
• Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support administration
• To direct, lead and manage the provision of high quality, cost-effective services to the client for the delivery of Revenues and Benefit services and to ensure that the client’s policy objectives in relation to Revenues and Benefits are met.
• The post holder will lead all aspects of the Revenues and Benefits operations, ensuring the customer is at the heart of the services.
• Administration of Financial assessments (Adult Social Care)
• Administration of appointeeships and deputyships, blue badges, 13A Payments.
• Assume financial responsibility for subsidy management.
• To deputise for the Director of Resident Service in their absence.
