Gardener needed in Horsham Paying  £12.71  per hr ref OR116701

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine grounds maintenance and horticultural works across parks, gardens, open spaces, and landscaped areas.
  • Mow grass, strim, edge, weed, prune, hedge cut, and maintain planted areas to agreed standards.
  • Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal bedding displays.
  • Water, fertilise, and care for plants to promote healthy growth and appearance.
  • Operate and maintain horticultural machinery, hand tools, and grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
  • Undertake turf management and sports pitch maintenance activities where required.
  • Assist with tree, shrub, and woodland maintenance activities.
  • Maintain pathways, borders, fences, and other landscape features.
  • Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, or environmental issues.
  • Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
