This role will involve:
To be responsible for the management of flood risk throughout Shropshire. Those risks are to be managed in accordance with the Flood Risk Strategy. The post holder will also responsible for ensuring the client meets its statutory duties as the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA). They will represent the client with external partners including but not limited to the Environment Agency, Severn and Wye Flood and Coastal Committee, IDBS, Flood Action Groups and other neighbouring local authorities.
