Fire Safety Surveyor needed in Horsham Paying £350 per hr ref OR118952
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor fire risk assessment (FRA) actions across residential properties, ensuring all remedial works are completed within agreed timescales.
- Undertake property inspections to identify fire safety defects, deficiencies, and compliance issues.
- Analyse fire-related building defects and prepare detailed specifications for remedial works.
- Conduct pre-works and post-works inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and satisfactory completion of projects.
- Monitor contractors, carrying out quality assurance and health and safety spot checks to ensure safe working practices.
- Manage contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including SOR and non-SOR contracts.
- Provide technical advice and guidance on fire safety matters to colleagues, residents, leaseholders, managing agents, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, building standards, and fire safety requirements.
- Produce accurate reports, recommendations, and technical documentation relating to fire safety and remedial works.
- Support the organisation in maintaining a safe living environment for residents.
