Financial Assessor in Blackburn Paying  £14.91  per hr ref 0008 8494 /1

Full time hours on a temporary basis

 This role will involve:

• Supporting Adult Social Care, the finance function financially assesses people who have care and support needs to establish how much they need to contribute towards the cost of their care.
• These appointments can be face to face in a person’s home or by telephone, whichever is the most appropriate
• Experience of working with vulnerable people and their families is desirable and someone who can listen, communicate well verbally and is proficient with IT systems, including Microsoft. 
• The ideal candidates must have up to date DWP benefits experience and be able to support vulnerable people with claiming any entitlements.
• Knowledge of Adult Social Care would be ideal but not essential and training will be provided.
