Farm Worker needed in Leeds Paying  £13.69 per hr ref 000A CE19 / 1

Full time hours on a temporary basis

We are seeking an experienced Livestock/Farm Worker to provide hands-on support across a busy farm operation. The postholder must be confident working independently and skilled in animal husbandry, forage management, and the safe use of farm plant and equipment. This is a practical, physical role requiring strong livestock handling abilities and a commitment to high welfare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake daily animal husbandry, including routine checks, feeding, watering, and administering medication as required.
• Maintain high standards of welfare through cleaning and upkeep of enclosures, pens, farm buildings, and public areas—using machinery or manual methods.
• Carry out forage management and general farm duties.
• Assist with livestock movement, including safe animal restraint and handling.
• Operate agricultural machinery and equipment, including:
  • Tractors
  • Buckets, muck grabs, bale spikes, pallet forks
• Support farm operations by performing driving duties across the farm and estate.
• Work under direction from the Farm Manager and Farm Chargehand, completing tasks without direct supervision.
