Fair Trading Officer needed in Stoke on trent £17ph ref 5203779

Full time hours on a temporary basis.

40 points from DCATS Service Delivery Modules: must have passed at least 4 modules: including both the Fair Trading Civil and Criminal modules. Or equivalent; or Consumer Protection Degree; or Law Degree and Certificates of Competence in both the Fair Trading Civil and Criminal modules.

Ability to balance enforcement with the practical difficulties experienced by the business community in achieving compliance.

Ability to conduct criminal investigations in relation to breaches of Fair Trading legislation.

Excellent presentational skills.

Good knowledge and experience of Fair Trading criminal enforcement.

Makes specific, helpful suggestions to assist colleagues in getting things done.

Proven ability to fulfil the role of lead officer for special projects teams.

Provides support to other professional staff.

Willingly helps and trains others when asked.
