Executive Personal Assistant (Hybrid) needed in Exeter, £31,525 per annum – Reference: 5305002

Working closely with senior leaders you’ll play a vital role in helping leadership teams stay organised, connected and focused on delivering outcomes for the people of Devon. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, building relationships and supporting others to succeed. Previous Executive PA experience is not essential. We are interested in people with the right attitude, strong organisational skills and the ability to learn quickly. Transferable skills gained from a wide range of professional backgrounds will be valued. 

No two days will be the same. You’ll be responsible for managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and events, handling confidential information, preparing correspondence and providing comprehensive administrative support.

  • Executive support to the Director and their leadership team:
  • Providing effective and intelligent diary management for the Director and their Leadership Team.
  • Provide effective and intelligent inbox management for the Director and their Leadership Team.
  • Manage the efficiency and effectiveness of senior leadership meetings, including high-level forward planning and report preparation.
  • Attend highly confidential tactical leadership team meetings as the loggist to produce clear and accurate decisions and actions, ensuring all actions are followed up.
  • Representing the views of the Director and their Senior Leadership Team displaying advanced communication skills.
  • Proactively deal with unforeseen tasks and issues, taking ownership of the situations, resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Manage the Director’s personal office and outer office area.
  • Share guidance to staff and its partners to ensure the delivery of actions that progress the priorities of the directorate.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with peers and counterparts across the County.
  • Prepare the Lead Member and Director ahead of meetings and conversations with relevant briefings and presentations.
  • Maintaining and developing strong working relationships with colleagues and teams across the Devon system.
