Environmental Health Officer / Enforcement Officer Contract Full Time

Environmental Health Officer / Enforcement Officer needed in based in Wembley and the salary is £17.27 per hr PAYE  

This is a full time temporary role.

This role will involve:

• To record and report data about daily operational activities to be reviewed and analysed by relevant managers.
• To identify problems and potential improvements in the appearance, safety, security and efficient operation of an area and reporting this for the consideration of the relevant service.
• To carry out regular uniformed patrols, on foot, bicycle or motor vehicle, deterring vandalism, public nuisance, littering and other forms of anti-social behaviour and to liaise with the Police and other relevant local agencies.
• To serve fixed penalty notices relating to a variety of low level offences including littering, dog fouling, graffiti, abandoned cars, nuisance parking, etc.
• To act as a professional witness and appear in court and at inquiries as may be required and attend court as required.
• To maintain records in an effective and professional manner so as to comply with the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, adequately support successful legal proceedings; allow completion of statistical returns, etc.
