Democratic Services Officer Contract Full Time

Democratic Services Officer based in East London and the hourly rate is £20.10ph

This is a full time temporary contract role.

Proactively support and lead on all aspects of work relating to decision making structure, including providing advice and support to Members, officers, stakeholders and citizens.

The successful candidate’s responsibility is to ensure that all decisions are taken in accordance with all legal and constitutional requirements. Proactively manage and support all aspects of the Member / Officer Decision making having regard to local procedures, council policy and best practice. Advise Members and officers on legal and constitutional requirements of the decision making process and relevant legislation. Contribute to providing efficient and effective support to all Members.
