Debt Recovery Officer needed in Wembley

This is a temporary role and the rate is £20.74h PAYE

The successful candidate will be responsible for recovering outstanding debts and maximising income collection across a varied portfolio, ensuring all recovery and enforcement activity is carried out in line with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

They will assess cases to determine appropriate recovery action, liaise with customers, enforcement agents, courts and other stakeholders, and negotiate effectively to achieve positive outcomes while maintaining high standards of customer service. The successful candidate will possess strong communication, analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, maintain accurate records and balance a firm but fair approach to debt recovery. Experience of debt collection, enforcement processes and working within a target-driven environment will be advantageous, alongside the ability to manage a demanding workload and build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
