Data Protection Advisor

Data Protection Advisor needed in Exeter Paying  £14.10 per hr ref 323289

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on data protection compliance, UK GDPR, DPA 2018 and privacy best practice.
• Support the completion of DPIAs, data mapping exercises, privacy notices, and risk assessments.
• Manage and advise on Subject Access Requests (SARs) and other information rights requests.
• Assist with data breach investigations, reporting, and remediation actions.
• Develop, review and implement data protection policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Work with teams across the organisation to ensure privacy-by-design and by-default principles.
• Maintain accurate records and support administrative and monitoring processes.
• Liaise with internal departments and external partners to promote good information governance.
