Compliance & Monitoring Officer

Compliance & Monitoring Officer needed in Braintree Paying  £20 per hr ref 23712

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits, inspections, site visits and compliance monitoring activities.
• Identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver health and safety training, inductions, toolbox talks and competency assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and complaints, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Support the development and review of risk assessments, safe systems of work and operational procedures.
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements, vehicle safety standards and operator licence obligations.
• Analyse compliance data, trends and audit findings to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide practical health and safety advice to managers, supervisors and operational staff.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies including the HSE, DVSA and Environment Agency.
