Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of the corporate communications strategy.
- Plan and deliver integrated communications campaigns across multiple channels.
- Produce high-quality content for internal and external audiences, including press releases, briefings, newsletters, reports, presentations, web content, and social media.
- Manage relationships with media representatives and respond to media enquiries.
- Promote and protect the reputation through proactive communications activity.
- Provide communications advice and support to senior officers, councillors, and service managers.
- Support public affairs and stakeholder engagement activity across the organisation.
- Monitor media coverage, campaign effectiveness, and stakeholder feedback, producing reports and recommendations.
- Lead or support communications responses during high-profile, sensitive, or crisis situations.
- Ensure all communications are accessible and comply with branding guidelines.
- Act as a brand champion, maintaining consistency across all communication channels and corporate materials.
