CIP Co-ordinator Contract Full Time

CIP Co-ordinator needed in based in Portishead and the salary is £10.95 per hr PAYE  

This is a Full time temporary role.

This role will involve:

• Promote awareness of Citizens in Policing and its priorities both internally and externally and take responsibility for coordinating its integration of into the organisation. To include establishing and building good working relationships and networks of community contacts and external partners.
• Develop close working relationships with local volunteer line managers, special supervisors and cadet leaders to proactively identify emerging issues and areas for improvement. Develop tailored local solutions and / or escalate as appropriate.
• Promote and encourage candidates from underrepresented communities to become volunteers.
• Proactively identify skills and knowledge gaps and developed, implemented and coordinate bespoke training to support the professional development of volunteers. Enable them to access centrally organised training as required.
• Identify emerging issues and barriers to volunteering, develop activities that address these to increase community insight, satisfaction and engagement.
• Lead on the local recognition activities that reflect the nature of volunteering in their area. Understand the local area volunteer profile and lead on the integration and bespoke delivery of recognition events.
