Child Protection Lawyer needed in Peterborough Paying  £201.68 per day ref 1752488

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of child protection matters, including care proceedings, adoption, fostering, special guardianship and pre-proceedings work.
• Advising social workers, senior managers and Children’s Services on safeguarding and child protection issues.
• Preparing legal documents and court applications.
• Representing the local authority at hearings and case conferences where required.
• Providing practical, solution-focused legal advice in line with current legislation and case law.
• Supporting the delivery of an efficient and effective legal service.
