Café assistant needed in Lewisham £21.25 ref 1270207

21.25 hours per week

1. To offer a professional customer service, promoting a friendly impression of ALL, whilst maintaining exceptional levels of efficiency and effectiveness and to hold a certificate of hygiene.
2. The Cafe Assistant will be responsible for the smooth running of the cafe and to where appropriate promote the services of ALL in conjunction with communication plans as directed by the Site Manager.
3. The Cafe Assistant will be expected to manage stock levels and to highlight low levels to the Site Manager And to be responsible for the taking of monies in return for the sale of goods at the ALL site.

Summary of Responsibilities and Personal Duties:

1. Responsible for ordering supplies, food etc and daily shopping, as agreed with the Site Manager.
2. Serve hot and cold food to a diverse community.
3. Clean cookers, sinks, table tops, microwave and appliances.
4. Ensure that a high standard of cleanliness and safety is maintained at all times within the cafe.
5. Ensure that all equipment and stock is securely locked away.
6. Responsible for collecting and recording income, and balancing till and cash, and recording wastage and stock levels and reporting this to the Site Manager.
7. Ensure that all appliances are switched off or left safe at the end of the shift.
8. Wash up all crockery, cutlery and other utensils.
9. Defrost and clean fridge.
10. Responsible for stock control and stock rotation as directed by the Site Manager.
11. Responsible for changing till roll.

Full time hours on a temporary basis
