Building Control Officer

Building Control Officer needed in Rotherham, £50 – £60ph – Reference: 000A 9925 / 1

This role focuses on domestic and small dwelling projects—including extensions, housing sites, new builds, and alterations to existing houses. No commercial properties or flats are involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 8–10 site inspections per day within the local area.
• Perform plan checking for projects outside the local area.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
• Provide clear, accurate reports following inspections.
• Liaise with contractors, developers, and homeowners to resolve compliance issues.
• Support the team during permanent recruitment coverage.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
