Assistant Quality Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to support the Quality Manager in monitoring and improving the quality of works delivered across our highways contract.

This is a field-based role involving site inspections, quality checks, reporting, and working closely with operational teams to ensure works are completed to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out inspections of completed and ongoing works.
• Visit sites to assess quality and compliance standards.
• Record findings, take photographs, and maintain accurate quality records.
• Produce reports and highlight any quality concerns.
• Support the follow-up of corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to drive quality performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience within highways, construction, infrastructure, or a similar environment.
• Previous inspection, quality assurance, or auditing experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Full UK driving licence.
