Assistant Engineer needed in Bradford

This is a temporary role and the rate is flexible dependant on experience

The successful candidate will support the delivery of diverse engineering and transport projects, contributing to feasibility work, concept development, public engagement, design, inspections, assessments, procurement and construction supervision.

They will apply specialist knowledge in areas such as traffic engineering, highway design and maintenance, civil and structural engineering, or street lighting, using sound professional judgement to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions.

They will check and prepare technical documents, undertake investigations and feasibility studies, assist with detailed design, support contract administration and supervise works on site to ensure compliance with safety, quality and specification requirements.

The successful candidate will communicate clearly with stakeholders, monitor budgets, maintain up‑to‑date technical expertise, produce high‑quality documentation, utilise specialist software and modelling tools, and manage confidential information and technical equipment responsibly.
