Asset and software Licensing officer needed in Ilford £200per day ref 416335

Full time hours on a temporary basis 1-3 months

Role and Person

Office based,  Daily 7.25 hours Covering (0800 till 17:15)

Reporting to IT Contracts Manager

Work with and follow instructions from IT Asset and Licencing Specialist (ITALS)

Willing to take on other requirements not mentioned specifically below but covering the areas mentioned below.

Duties

• Backup point of contact for all Asset & Software licencing requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up to date asset, software and procurement records.
• Lifecycle of assets – procurement, deployment, management, availability, storage, builds, upgrades, inventory, documentation, disposals, Tagging.
• Lifecycle of PC software – procurements, deployment, management, movement, upgrades, version control, inventory, removals, maintenance, documentation, disposals.
• Financial – process all internal charges, monitor, maintain up to date financial records, collate reports for analysis, ensure IT are audit compliant.
• Procurement –purchase on demand, maintain up to date procurement records, manage enquires, seek best value for money/practice for IT, support LBR Partners, manage supplier accounts, collate procurement financial data, ensure IT are audit compliant.
• Stock – maintain IT asset stock levels, communicate stock/level status, purchase on demand and in advance, audit all assets and software, advise on models/specs and alternatives, manage repair and warranty issues. Cradle to grave.
• Trouble shooting – hardware, software, technical, financial, procurement, asset management issues.
• Maintain ITSM tools with regards to all assets/software changes, movements, installation, decommission, upgrades, renewals. Action Tickets logged for Asset and Licensing team on ITSM.
• IT Contracts – monitor, maintain, support, produce data, manage tenders and subsequent procurement, apply upgrades/versions if applicable, update the Contract Owner, ensure IT Contract database/LBR Corporate contracts register is up to date.
• Manage, allocate, configure, deploy, install, maintain, troubleshoot and support hardware, software, mobile devices, phones.
• Document day to day changes/updates/resolutions.
• The ability to demonstrate a collaborative approach to working with others, both internal and external to the organisation.
• Support to IT/LBR Staff, Stakeholders, Partners.
