Assessment & Lettings Officer needed in Wembley

This is a temporary contract initially paying £21.41ph PAYE

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing housing applications in line with relevant housing legislation, carrying out detailed eligibility checks, home visits and verifications, and determining applicants’ priority and banding. They will support the smooth operation of the choice‑based lettings service, including advertising properties, prioritising applicants for viewings and offers, and responding to customer enquiries.

They will work collaboratively with housing teams to process mutual exchanges, successions, assignments and management transfers, while also investigating cases of harassment or unacceptable behaviour and taking appropriate action.
