This is a full time temporary role.
Our client is looking for an Advice and Information Officer to join our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and Assessment and Child Protection Team (ACP).
The successful candidate will be co- located with colleagues from Police, Social Care, Health, Early Help and with the ACP Team.
They will be the first point of contact for all callers. They will be expected to gather information both directly on the phone and via information systems to enable the right decision to be made by Decision Makers. Offering advice, support and assistance to children, families and professionals will require the post holder to hold and maintain a wide range of knowledge and information of services and other agencies so that people can be signposted to available relevant resources elsewhere when appropriate.
