Administration Assistant Child Protection Minute Taker needed in Grays paying £11.97 per hr PAYE ref: 491744

This role is full time on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

• As required, to provide an effective frontline service for the Centre by responding to telephone calls & dealing with personal callers in a sensitive and professional manner, taking messages and ensuring information gets passed to appropriate members of staff.
• To provide minute taking
• To provide administrative support to the Centre as required to existing admin staff and supervising contact social workers.
• To keep accurate records to ensure business continuity of service.
• To maintain filing systems and data for all contact referrals received from Social Workers and birth family photos taken at contact.
• To support the co-ordination of room bookings, preparing and clearing the room, if necessary.
• To liaise with Social workers, birth families and Foster Carers in respect of contact queries for Children Looked After.
• To upload contact records to LCS, the central database used within Children’s Services.
• To have a good knowledge of and competency in IT and Microsoft office applications, including e-mail and internet use, and attend training as required.
