Adjudicator – National Trading Standards Estate Agency Team –

Essential 

• significant experience of working in an adjudication or arbitration role.
• experience of the UK legal system and the functions of Tribunals.
• an understanding of the role and function of local authority enforcement policies and practices.

Desirable

• Experience of working in or for a local authority or other enforcement body.
• in-depth understanding of legal process governing adjudication and arbitration.
• understand the legal framework that local authorities operate in (including the code of conduct) 
• understanding of the role and function of an enforcement authority
• understanding of the Estate Agents Act and/or other Trading Standards legislation.
