Homeless Assistant based in Wakefield and the rate is £11.59ph PAYE
This is a full time role working on a temporary contract.

The team provides homeless prevention, assessment, and decision-making services to those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The team carry out duty work and casework to identify and address an applicant’s housing related problems. You will be the first point of contact in the Homeless Team for customers. This will include dealing with telephone, electronic and occasional face to face inquiries along with providing administrative support to the team. We are looking for someone with highly effective interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively and have personal resilience when dealing with inquiries. You will need to be highly organised, able to work under pressure, work within strict deadlines and have good IT skills.
