Planning Obligations Support Officer needed in Honiton, Devon paying £10.62 per hr PAYE Ref: 5160327
This is working full time hours on a temporary basis
Purpose:
To provide administrative support to enable the collection and monitoring of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 monies from developers to fund the delivery of infrastructure required to support the delivery of development
Responsibilities:
To assist with the administration of the CIL collection process including registering developments on the CIL collection system and issuing all associated administrative
To assist with the administration of the CIL appeals process including recording details of the appeal on the CIL collection system and issuing standard correspondence
To liaise with the finance, legal, land charges and other relevant teams to ensure the efficient administrative operation of the CIL and S.106 collection
Update and maintain office records including technical documents, registers and financial statistical returns including the use of computer based systems, photocopying, etc.
Provide administrative support to the Planning Obligations and CIL Support Officer including assisting with record keeping, the management of budgets relating to CIL and Section 106 agreements and the organization of meetings.
Undertake research to inform the negotiation of planning obligations to include analysing data sets and presenting complex information in a straightforward and easily understood
To provide advice to applicants and agents on the appropriate formula etc for planning gain requirement
To hold, maintain and retrieve information to support the negotiation of planning obligations for the Development Management
Assist in completing and collating information for Government and other Returns and and audits.
Respond to requests for information and surveys in relation to planning obligations, including requests under the Freedom of Information Act.
