Comms and engagement officer needed in Cambridge, £18.26ph PAYE – Reference: 5272660

A fundamental part of the client’s Communications and Engagement Team, working closely with Communications Officers to coordinate communications plans for teams and projects, and create content for multiple channels including social media, websites, e-newsletters, residents’ magazines, out of home artwork and much more. Also providing a contact point for enquiries (internal and external), including those received via social media and from the media, and supporting the team by taking ownership of administrative tasks.

Support the smooth day to day running of the client’s Communications and Engagement activities, including external and internal communications. Working with colleagues in the Communications and Engagement Team and across the council to drive the dynamic and ever-changing needs of the council, providing added value to support the council’s corporate plan.
Helping to build positive reputation of the client locally and nationally in line with council vision

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
