Waste Solutions Operative

Waste Solutions Operative 37 hours per week, Thursday – Sunday, 7am – 4:45pm Duties to include but not limited to: • Collecting garbage, recyclables, and debris from residential, commercial, and industrial properties, including streets and alleys, and transporting them to disposal or recycling facilities. • Operating and maintaining collection vehicles, including trucks with hydraulic lifts or automated mechanisms. • Assisting drivers in manoeuvring trucks safely and directing vehicle movement during collection. • Sorting recyclables from non-recyclables and ensuring proper disposal according to local regulations. • Cleaning, washing, and servicing collection vehicles as needed. • Reporting irregularities, delays, or safety hazards to supervisors.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
