Waste and Cleansing Supervisor

Waste and Cleansing Supervisor needed in Rugby Paying  £16.90 per hr ref 1687463

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations for waste collection, street cleansing, and environmental maintenance
• Allocate work, plan staff rotas, and ensure resources are used efficiently
• Carry out site inspections, monitor service performance, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards
• Support staff with operational issues, vehicle checks, and risk assessments
• Respond to service requests, missed collections, fly‑tipping, and other cleansing issues
• Train, coach, and motivate operatives to deliver high‑quality services
• Liaise with residents, businesses, contractors, and internal departments to resolve service concerns
• Report defects, hazards, and equipment issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records, service logs, and performance data
• Assist in incident management, accident reporting, and enforcement‑related tasks where required
