Void Operative needed in Derby Paying  £13.05 per hr ref 5289809

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• As a Void Operative, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the Waste Transfer Station, ensuring void areas are kept clean, safe, and operational. You will assist with waste handling, sorting, and general site maintenance, working as part of an on‑site team to ensure all processes run smoothly and in line with health and safety requirements.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Clear and maintain void areas across the site.
  • Assist with waste sorting, lifting, loading, and general waste handling.
  • Keep the site clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
  • Support site operatives and supervisors with daily tasks.
  • Report hazards, damaged equipment, or issues promptly.
  • Ensure waste is handled in line with environmental and operational standards.
