Transport Planner

Transport Planner needed in Doncaster Paying  £20.68 per hr ref 000A CA6E / 1

Full time hours on a temporary basis

 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and optimise daily transport routes to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
• Allocate vehicles and drivers, ensuring full compliance with regulations such as driver hours and maintenance schedules.
• Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve service issues and maintain service levels.
• Monitor vehicle movements and update schedules as required.
• Prepare reports, performance data, and delivery/collection records.
• Ensure all planning activities comply with health & safety and transport legislation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the transport operation.
