Street Cleansing Operative

Street Cleansing Operative needed in Nottingham Paying  £13.28 per hr ref RQ1795373

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Carry out litter picking and general street cleansing activities across designated areas.

Use litter-picking barrows and associated equipment to maintain clean public spaces.

Remove litter, weeds, detritus, leaves and other environmental waste from streets, pathways and public areas.

Sweep and cleanse footways, pedestrian areas and highways as required.

Clean around street furniture, including benches, signs, bus stops and other public assets.

Empty, clean and maintain street litter bins to agreed standards.

Assist with the removal of fly-tipping, bulky waste and other environmental hazards where required.

• Report any defects, damage, graffiti or environmental concerns identified during daily duties.
