PT School Catering Assistant

PT Catering Assistant needed in Kirkby in Ashfield Paying  £12.71 per hr ref RQ1796585

Part time hours on a temporary basis

• Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation and Service
  • Assist with the preparation of food and beverages following set menus and recipes.
  • Serve meals to pupils, staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Prepare dining areas before service and clear down afterwards.
  • Replenish food and beverage counters during service periods.
  • Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.

  Cleaning and Hygiene

  • Wash dishes, utensils and catering equipment.
  • Clean kitchen areas, dining halls, food preparation surfaces and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately and assist with recycling procedures.

  Enhanced DBS check required prior to appointment.
