PRSO Team leader

Job Purpose

To support the Service Manager (Accommodation) in driving the continuous development, improvement, efficiency and success of the Community Wellbeing Department as a whole. The role involves assessing customer needs, identifying trends, generating innovative solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, professional services. The post holder will be responsible for implementing operational plans within the service area that align with wider organisational objectives and client strategy.

To lead and manage the allocation of accommodation secured within the Private Rented Sector, including leased accommodation, ensuring the fulfilment of the client’s statutory obligations under Part VI and Part VII of the Housing Act 1996. This includes the provision of suitable temporary accommodation and the discharge of homelessness duties through appropriate Private Rented Sector Offers (PRSOs).
