Property Manager needed in Ipswich Paying  £24.96 per hr ref 1738609

Full time hours on a temporary basis

 Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement the property group plan for the preventive maintenance and development of the organisation’s property portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Maintain a comprehensive property register, identifying stations and workplaces requiring works to meet health and safety standards and environmental objectives.
  • Contribute to effective partnership working to improve service quality, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure all property operations comply with legal requirements, technical standards, and industry best practice.
  • Provide strong management leadership and support across the property function.
  • Support delivery of group and organisational objectives in line with organisational values and codes of ethics.
  • Work collaboratively with managers across departments to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to all workstreams.
  • Attend organisational meetings and represent the property function as required.
  • Manage property-related budgets, determine resource requirements, and make recommendations for expenditure in line with departmental business plans.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership working with key stakeholders and service providers.
  • Ensure management information systems provide accurate and relevant reporting to support informed strategic decision-making.
  • Continually review workstreams, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement agreed changes to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and regulations across the property portfolio.
  • Manage payment of business rates, utilities, and associated property costs.
  • Manage tenant relationships and oversee invoicing processes to recover expenditure and maximise revenue return.
