Private Sector Housing Team Manager needed in Ilford Paying  £24.52 per ref OR23928

Full time hours on a temporary basis

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support a team of officers delivering private sector housing functions
• Oversee HHSRS inspections, risk assessments, and enforcement activity
• Manage HMO licensing, property licensing schemes, and compliance checks
• Authorise enforcement actions including improvement notices, civil penalties, prohibition notices and legal proceedings
• Provide expert advice on housing standards, legislation, and regulatory responsibilities
• Monitor service performance, caseloads, and reporting requirements
• Develop policies, procedures, and service improvements
• Build strong working relationships with landlords, tenants, external agencies, and internal teams
• Ensure the team delivers a high‑quality, customer‑focused service
