Principal Highways Development Coordinator

Principal Highways Development Coordinator needed in Gloucester, £47ph PAYE – Reference: 5266933

You will ideally have extensive experience in technical checking for s278 and s38 works and experience of highway planning responses. 

The position will require one to two days a week attendance in the office plus site visits as necessary

• To provide timely advice and recommendations to the local planning authority making sure that the Highways Authority’s position is clearly represented.
• To provide direction and guidance to less experienced colleagues within Highways Development Management, so as to provide a proactive, effective and cost-efficient service.
• To provide a Highways Development Management perspective to the development of policy and strategy for the Local Transport Plan, and the Highway Authority.
• To facilitate economic sustainable development within the County in the context of the policies and strategies.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
