Planning Policy Officer needed in Northampton Paying £33.95 per hr ref 1737385

Key Responsibilities
- Process Strategic Land Availability Assessment Review (SLAAR) submissions and maintain associated records.
- Complete site selection proformas and undertake detailed site assessments.
- Review sites against infrastructure capacity, environmental constraints, and planning considerations.
- Analyse responses from infrastructure providers and stakeholders to inform planning policy work.
- Draft and contribute to the Infrastructure Delivery Plan, ensuring infrastructure requirements are clearly identified and evidenced.
- Support policy development relating to neighbourhood and local centres, including local shopping areas and community hubs.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Local Plan evidence base, ensuring consistency and alignment across all supporting documents.
- Prepare written reports, briefing notes, and consultation documentation.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders to support policy development and project delivery.
