Payroll Team Leader needed in Chichester

This is a temporary role and the rate is £21.34ph PAYE

The successful candidate will provide efficient, timely and accurate administrative support across the team, confidently managing day‑to‑day priorities and delivering a customer‑focused service. They will process payments, employment changes, DBS applications, pension updates and other administrative tasks with precision, using SAP or similar systems and completing necessary calculations. They will analyse information to ensure correct handling of pay, leave and pension matters, produce clear written correspondence, maintain accurate records, and respond to daily queries in line with procedures. The successful candidate will offer informed guidance on policies, escalate complex issues appropriately, and build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers, using tact and professionalism when resolving sensitive or challenging queries. They will handle confidential financial and personal information responsibly and remain fully compliant with all relevant procedures and professional standards.
