Park Warden needed in Swindon Paying  £13.90 per hr ref OR26797

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Core DutiesPitch & Putt Kiosk and Course

  • Operate the pitch & putt kiosk, including selling tickets and processing card payments
  • Issue and collect equipment
  • Sell and re‑stock cold drinks and ice creams
  • Engage with visitors and provide general information about the site
  • Set up and close down the course on a daily basis
  • Operate sprinkler systems
  • Maintain greens and fairways
  • Carry out mowing duties using ride‑on and pedestrian equipment
  • Maintain course surfaces and surrounding areas
  • Undertake basic vegetation management, including weeding and shrub bed maintenance

  Crazy Golf Course

  • Set up and close down the course daily
  • Maintain course features and playing surfaces
  • Ensure the area remains clean, safe, and well‑presented at all times

  Splash Park

  • Carry out water quality checks throughout the day
  • Clean and maintain the splash park system, splash pad, and surrounding areas
  • Monitor and enforce maximum capacity limits
  • Enforce splash park rules to ensure safe use
  • Empty bins and carry out regular litter picking
  • Clean and check nearby toilet facilities
  • Engage positively with visitors and respond to enquiries

  Secondary Duties

  Once all core duties have been completed, the postholder may assist with wider country park operations, including:

  • Cleaning toilet and BBQ facilities
  • Emptying bins and litter picking across the park
  • Assisting with fishing and statutory safety checks (e.g. play areas, dams)
  • Vegetation management, including mowing and strimming
  • Supporting contractors and external events
  • General visitor engagement and customer service
