Operational property Manager

Purpose of the Job

To manage the Operational Property Division with responsibility to the relevant Director, providing efficient and effective service delivery in line with the Client’s aims.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Environment & Property and provide leadership to the division across Architectural Design, Quantity Surveying, Building Maintenance, Energy Efficiency and Facilities Management services.
• Manage, direct and advise on the Client’s procurement strategy relating to design and construction requirements.
• Manage, develop and motivate staff within the division to maximise effective and efficient service delivery.
• Act as the budget holder for services managed, including the annual Corporate, Operational Property and Building Maintenance budgets.
• Manage the multi‑million‑pound Corporate Capital Programme budget for construction‑related projects undertaken or commissioned by the division.
• Prepare the Corporate, Core and Major Asset Strategy to support the development of the Client’s 5‑year Capital Programme.
