NEC Project Manager needed in East London Paying  £408.14  per day ref 137930

Full time hours on a temporary basis

  • Key ResponsibilitiesNEC Systems Implementation
    • Lead the end-to-end delivery of NEC system implementations across multiple active modules.
    • Manage project activities from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live.
    • Coordinate the delivery of multiple concurrent NEC workstreams and ensure alignment across all modules.
    • Oversee technical integrations between NEC systems and third-party applications.
    • Ensure solutions meet business requirements and operational objectives.

    Project Planning & Governance

    • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans.
    • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Manage project governance arrangements and reporting processes.
    • Implement change control procedures to manage scope, risks, and dependencies.
    • Maintain and regularly review RAIDD logs to identify and mitigate delivery risks.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams.
    • Build effective relationships with business users, technical teams, vendors, and senior management.
    • Facilitate project workshops, steering groups, and operational meetings.
    • Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and progress reports to stakeholders.
    • Escalate risks, issues, and decisions where appropriate.

    Team Coordination & Delivery

    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
    • Coordinate activities across technical, operational, and business workstreams.
    • Monitor deliverables and drive accountability across project teams.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders.
    • Support teams in resolving implementation challenges and delivery risks.

    Testing & Operational Readiness

    • Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across all modules.
    • Coordinate testing plans, defect resolution, and sign-off processes.
    • Ensure operational readiness requirements are met before deployment.
    • Manage go-live planning, cutover activities, and post-implementation support.
    • Ensure appropriate documentation, training, and knowledge transfer activities are completed.

    Resource & Vendor Management

    • Monitor project resources, budgets, and delivery capacity.
    • Manage third-party suppliers and vendor relationships.
    • Ensure vendor deliverables meet agreed milestones and service levels.
    • Track project expenditure and support financial governance processes.
    • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and implementation outcomes.
