Gas & Heating Compliance Officer

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Gas & Heating Compliance Officer to join our team.

This is predominantly an office-based compliance and assurance role, ideal for someone with a strong background in gas, heating and plumbing who is looking to apply their technical expertise within a compliance environment rather than a hands-on engineering role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and auditing Landlord Gas Safety Records (LGSRs) and compliance documentation.
• Monitoring gas, heating and plumbing compliance programmes.
• Managing contractor performance and ensuring remedial actions are completed.
• Maintaining accurate compliance records and auditable documentation.
• Undertaking occasional post-inspections and quality assurance checks.

About You

You will have:

• NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Plumbing & Heating, with a minimum of 12 months’ relevant experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of gas, heating and plumbing systems.
• Experience reviewing gas certification and challenging recommendations where necessary.
• Excellent IT skills, including experience using compliance systems, spreadsheets and electronic records.
• A thorough understanding of compliance requirements and the importance of accurate record management.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
