Health And Safety Officer

MAIN PURPOSE

To support the provision of an effective health & safety service for the client on all matters relating to health & safety legislation, corporate policy and procedures to ensure that the organisation meets its statutory health and safety duties.

You will be responsible for providing on the ground advice to services, enabling operational staff to meet their compliance obligations.  You will also support Service Leads with the identification of operational risks without taking away accountability for compliance from the operation of the service.
