Fund Governance Manager needed in Trowbridge Paying  £22.17 per hr ref 5290678

Full time hours on a temporary basis

•  Key Responsibilities

  • Provide governance services for a large defined benefit pension scheme
  • Ensure full compliance with LGPS Regulations and national governance requirements
  • Oversee committee governance, reporting, and decision‑making support
  • Lead on business planning, performance monitoring, and risk management
  • Develop and deliver training programmes to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Support procurement activity and ensure compliance with procurement standards
  • Drive system and process improvements to enhance governance and service delivery
  • Oversee compliance with industry standards and internal controls
  • Supervise and develop staff within the governance function
  • Deliver clear, high‑quality reports, evidence, and recommendations
  • Work effectively within a complex environment with competing priorities
  • Ensure governance processes support efficient, transparent and accountable fund administration
