Environmental Health/Community Safety Officer needed in North London Paying  £24.03 per hr ref 012933

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

• • Conduct inspections and enforcement activities to ensure compliance with commercial safety regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve statutory nuisance complaints related to noise, smoke, dust, light, and odour.
  • Address anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues, working closely with the ASB team and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a Licensing Responsible Authority, reviewing and providing feedback on licensing applications.
  • Educate and advise businesses and the public on commercial safety standards and practices.
  • Represent the company in a customer-facing front-line environment, often in challenging circumstances.
  • Perform enforcement functions from an office base (25%-40%) and through site-based visits (60%-75%) to premises, carrying appropriate equipment.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of investigations and actions taken.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to address public health and safety concerns.
