Environmental Health Officer

Environmental Health Officer needed in Bromley Paying  £28.14 per hr ref 1511695

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

• • Investigate and resolve statutory nuisance complaints related to noise, smoke, dust, light, and odour.
  • Address anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues, working closely with the ASB team and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a Licensing Responsible Authority, reviewing and providing feedback on licensing applications.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental health regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of investigations and actions taken.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to address public health and safety concerns.

  Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental Health or a related field.
  • Registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) or equivalent.
  • Experience in handling statutory nuisance complaints and ASB cases.
  • Knowledge of licensing laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
