Full time hours on a temporary basis

• We are seeking a Director of Governance, Risk and Regulatory Compliance to lead a critical portfolio that underpins our organisation’s integrity and success. This is a high-impact role, shaping policy, steering regulatory engagement, and ensuring assurance at scale.

  • Risk & Compliance
  • Legal Services
  • Regulatory Assurance

  You will manage senior leaders across these functions, oversee a multimillion-pound budget, and act as a key advisor to our Executive and Group Boards.

  Day-to-day, you will

  • Champion regulatory excellence and board assurance
  • Lead strategic servicing of Boards and Committees
  • Oversee legal services and compliance frameworks
  • Drive risk culture and corporate assurance
  • Influence policy, ethics, and data protection
  • Represent the organisation to regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders

  What you’ll bring

  • Senior leadership experience in governance, legal, risk, or compliance
  • Proven track record with Boards, regulators, and complex portfolios
  • Deep knowledge of UK housing regulation, company law, and assurance frameworks
  • A collaborative, inclusive leadership style that inspires high-performing teams
  • Ideally Chartered Governance Professional (CGIUKI) or equivalent
