Chief Accountant (Hybrid)

Chief Accountant (Hybrid) needed in Southampton, £38.27ph PAYE – 5288301

Hybrid working. Civic Centre. 1 day in Southampton per week.

1. To comply with the Client’s financial policies and requirements.
2. To manage and deliver an effective technical accounting service and all services within it. To manage the technical accounting team
3. To ensure the client is compliant with accounting standards, CIPFA guidance and government regulations.
4. To manage and deliver an effective VAT and tax service
5. To provide clear, insightful and compliant reporting on all matters related to the function, including Treasury Management policies and position, capital strategy and capital programme monitoring, including impact on funding and borrowing requirements.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis
